About Think Rarer

Think Rarer is a small, independent trivia game. The idea is simple: in most quizzes the obvious answer wins; here it loses. Name the cheese, country or film nobody else would think of, and you score more.

Where the questions come from

Every question has a complete list of valid answers, built from Wikidata (released under CC0). How common each answer is starts as an estimate from a year of English Wikipedia pageviews, published by the Wikimedia REST API. As people play, real answer counts will gradually take over. We check the top answers of every question by hand and add new questions every week.

Think Rarer is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Krillion or any other trivia game. We write our own questions and build our own answer data.
